Textured Brushes

1.Open up your photo shop or paint shop.

2.Open up a new page making it any size you desire

3.Photo Shop:Make a new layer (normal layer) and delete the "background layer". Make sure the new layer is transparent. confused? use photo direction (click here).Paint Shop: Open a new page select "raster background" and press "ok".

4.Before you play around with textures to make brushes, make sure your page looks like this.(click here)

5.Now select any brush and play around with the textures Photo Shop:On the far top right on your photo shop program there is 2 tabs "File Browser" and "Brushes", click on Brushes and a drag list will appear showing the brush you are currently using. On the side it says Dual brush, texture etc.. play around with that untill your satisfied with your brush, make sure you test it out. Paint Shop: On the same Navagation bar with the brush preview play around with the hardness, size, step etc.. untill your satisfied

6.Photo Shop: Done?, then click "edit" and click "define brushes...". Paint Shop: Done?, then click on the preview of the brush and drag down and press the little icon of "paper" then name your brush. confused? use photo direction (click here)

7.Click on preview of the brush and drag down and select the brush you just installed and use it =]. confused? use photo direction (click here)
